FIFTEEN YEARS OF AUTHENTIC TASTE OF INDIA

 

This April 21, Shanti celebrates fifteen years open to the public and we are pleased to be able to share it with all our clients, followers and professionals who have seen it born, grow and consolidate. We repeat: FIFTEEN YEARS!, of shared experiences, dedication and delivery to bring from India, and serve our diners, the authentic flavor of the country's cuisine.

From the beginning, Shanti, "inner peace " in Sanskrit, has managed to create a warm, welcoming and calming atmosphere for anyone who decides to enter this restaurant, surrounded by offices and located in Sarrià, a few steps from the bustling Diagonal, one of the great arteries of Barcelona. Once inside, the madding crowd disappears, and everything invites you to sit around the table, to quietly taste the most representative and desired dishes of the unmistakable gastronomy born in the land of the maharajas.

In all these years, Shanti has been faithful to its essence and has known how to introduce diners to the true culinary art of North India, through delicious, carefully prepared dishes, seasoned with a rich mix of spices and with the right dose. Just right spicy for the European palate, but without losing an iota of the genuine taste of Indian cuisine.

Fifteen years go a long way and allow us to review numerous stages of our collective memory. Today we do not want to remember the difficult times of the beginning, in which we had to start from scratch, or the very difficult times of the pandemic, in which we had to resist, but rather the good times, those of growth and expansion of our Shanti, our and yours, because, without you, today we would not be celebrating our "15th BIRTHDAY".
