Shanti is the Indian restaurant that opened its doors in Barcelona in April 2008 , in the Sarrià neighborhood.

Shanti is a word that comes from Sanskrit and means inner peace. The choice of this name by those in charge of the restaurant is due to the interest that they put in achieving a pleasant and calm atmosphere, an ideal setting for lunch and dinner in peace, whether with family, friends or as a couple.

India, the name of the country itself, reminds us of Mahatama Gandhi and Mother Teresa. These two names emancipate peace. Our intent is that when you come to our SHANTI house you enjoy a total experience of authentic Indian food and the culture of this thousand-year-old country.

The culinary proposal of this restaurant is one hundred percent Indian food, prepared by a chef who has been working for more than 20 years in India and now here in Spain and who knows perfectly how to play with spices, flavors and tastes. Specialties from India come out of its kitchen, both from the north and from the southernmost part. In the first contact with the cuisine of this country, it is best to be seduced by the tasting set menu that we have, the set menu has a bit of all kinds of flavors.

The Shanti Restaurant also has a good selection of cocktails that will put the icing on the cake at our dinners.
